Heather Snavely Anderson, a 2007 DWU graduate, was a four-year member of the Tiger women’s golf team during the start of its era of dominance. A four-time All-GPAC First Team performer, Anderson helped lead DWU to four straight GPAC championships and NAIA Region III titles. The Winner, S.D., native was named the region golfer of the year in 2006, and was the first women’s golf All-American in 2006 when she earned All-American Honorable Mention honors. She played on four teams that qualified for the national tournament, including the 2003-04 team that took 10th at the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships.

Don Blumenberg, a 1957 DWU graduate, is being honored as both an athlete and a contributor. He was a four-year letter winner for the Tiger men’s basketball program and started in every game of his four-year career. While at DWU, he was the president of the “W” Club at DWU. He served on the DWU Board of Trustees for 12 years and has been an active member of the DWU TeamMaker booster club both as an organizer and recruiter. In 1988, he was given the Outstanding Service to Alma Mater Award from Dakota Wesleyan.

Jeff Larson, a 1989 Dakota Wesleyan graduate, was a four-year starter at cornerback for the Tiger football team. He is tied for the school record for interceptions in a game (3) and a career (18), and held the record for interceptions in a season (8) for several years. He was a three-time all-conference performer and earned all-district honors as a senior. He helped DWU to a conference title in 1987. The Mitchell native was also a four-year starter at second base and shortstop for the DWU baseball team and was named the team MVP twice in his career.

Vladimir Micic, a 2002 Dakota Wesleyan graduate and Yugoslavia native, still holds several records after a prolific track and field career at DWU. He is one of just a handful of athletes in DWU history with multiple All-American honors and finished in the top five three times at the national track and field championships. He also set SDIC and GPAC records in the 55-meter indoor hurdles. He still holds school records in the outdoor 110-meter hurdles in the indoor 55- and 60-meter hurdles. He also has three times that are still in the top 10 in DWU track and field history.

Roger Musick has been a proud supporter of Dakota Wesleyan University academics and athletics for many years. The Mitchell native has been a Tiger fan since the 1960s, and was a member of the Dakota Wesleyan Board of Trustees for 12 years, including an eight-year stint as the board’s president. During his time as board chair, he presided over the most ambitious expansion of the university in its 120 year history: the Sherman Center and the McGovern Library were constructed; Allen Hall was renovated; and the student apartments were built. He supports the TeamMakers booster club, and has been a support of Tiger athletics for many years.
