DWU students to provide daycare services as fundraiser for CMN
MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan students are hosting a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network that should appeal to parents.
DWU students will provide daycare services from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at LB Williams Elementary. Parents must pre-register their children and the cost is a flat fee of $15 for however long the child stays. Children 3 years and older are welcome. Lunch and snacks will be provided. All proceeds go toward the Children’s Miracle Network. Parents can sign up their children by contacting Ana Morel at Ana.Morel.email@example.com, or Mara Herman at Mara.Herman.firstname.lastname@example.org. Please sign up in advance to ensure enough staff members are available.
“If you have Christmas shopping to do, you can drop your kids off with us and they will receive great care and the money goes to a great cause,” Morel said.
Additional donations toward the Children’s Miracle Network may also be made.
“Children’s Miracle Network is something I really think can help people and it’s an amazing cause and I feel privileged to be a part of it,” Morel said. “You really get to change people’s lives in this community, and you get to meet the people you are helping.”
