DWU announces faculty promotions
MITCHELL — Five faculty members at Dakota Wesleyan University were recognized Sunday at the Honors Convocation for promotion and academic achievement.
Dr. Vince Redder, dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, was promoted to full professor status. Redder has been teaching English and languages at DWU since 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dallas in 1979, his Master of Arts degree from Midwestern State University in 1997 and his Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of South Carolina.
Carena Jarding, an instructor for the nursing department since 2008, was promoted to assistant professor status. Jarding earned her Associate of Arts degree from Dakota Wesleyan in 2000, and her Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University, Brookings, in 2008. She also earned her Master of Science degree in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education this year from Grand Canyon University.
Bethany Melroe Lehram, assistant professor of chemistry, earned a Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry from South Dakota State University.
Christine Mauszycki, instructor of accounting and business administration, earned a Certified Public Accountant license from the South Dakota Board of Accountancy.
Kimberly Mohr, nursing instructor, earned a Master of Science in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education from Grand Canyon University.
