More than 40 students and staff will partake in two mission trips in 2014 over spring break.
Students and faculty that travel to Puerto Vallarta during spring break for one week to be a part of a mission-based church called Worship in Paradise. They will help build houses in some of the poorest areas in the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta, working alongside the families and creating a unifying bond between them. They will also visit an orphanage, spend time and play with children from the ages infant to 12, as well as take part in some community outreach programs such as serving food.
The mission team participating in “Urban Plunge: Omaha” will be an experience of ministry in the inner-city. Students and staff will have valuable hands-on experience with multiple different faith-based social service and non-profit agencies in one weekend – including visiting the prison, feeding the homeless and distributing clothing.
• Puerto Vallarta: 22 students and staff will travel March 8-16
• Omaha: 22 students and staff will travel March 9-14
